On July 18, 2026, our community gathered for AfriFest, a vibrant festival dedicated to honoring African culture, unity, and heritage. The event brought together people of all ages for a day filled with energy, artistic expression, and meaningful connection.
A major highlight of this year’s festival was the Kid Zone at AfriFest, presented in partnership with the African Women Alliance. Designed specifically to give young attendees a space of their own, the Kid Zone provided interactive opportunities for children to immerse themselves in cultural festivities through play, creative activities, and discovery. By creating an inclusive, family-focused environment, the Kid Zone ensured that children felt deeply included in the cultural celebration.
This wonderful celebration was made possible alongside our valued partner, APNET.
AfriFest continues to serve as a vital space for strengthening community ties and honoring shared traditions.
