Recap of Community Health Fair 2026

Our recent community health fair was a great success, drawing a great number of attendees from various neighborhoods. The event was organized to ensure everyone could access valuable health resources and information.

The event kicked off at 9.30 am, a chilly morning which eventually warmed up. The vendors were early and filled the room quickly, setting the tables meticulously with their logos that represented what they offered as health organizations.

The major attraction was free health screenings offered throughout the day. AHEC professionals provided free CPR classes, cholesterol screenings and risk diabetes assessments. Leila Urgent Care provided blood pressure screenings, Lions club of Hebron provided Vision screenings, St. Elizabeth Mammogram van provided Mammograms, Walgreens Pharmacy provided vaccines and many more. This Initiative promoted awareness and encouraged individuals to take proactive steps towards their health.

This was also a great opportunity for the local vendors to network with their peers and share their resources.

In summary, the community health fair was more than an event but a collaboration of healthcare professionals offering knowledge and taking part in improving healthier lives one after the other. We are looking forward to building on this success in future and continuing to promote health and wellness in our community. We are grateful to all the vendors who attended for the day that would not have been successful without them.
